Designer, Pina Fiorenza's sense of style mirrors her history. She was born in Catania, Sicily, a city renowned for its colourful youth painted upon an oppulent, artisitic history. Churches in the city are garnered with sophisticated mosaics, crystal objects and silver artistry. This artistry is the backbone of all walks of life from the street painters to the humble mother hand-embroidering her family heirlooms. Pina's family extended beyond this humility to become a family of the upper echelons of local fashion in mid-20th century Catania.
